Outdoor Fence Decoration Ideas To Transform Your Home

Wrought iron fencing is robust but also incredibly attractive, particularly when coupled with outdoor fence decoration ideas that are creative, unique and add to a property’s street appeal. Compared to other fencing materials, wrought iron is traditional and timeless, with a hint of grandeur and sophistication. Our team are proud to say we are behind some of south-east Queensland’s most recognisable iron fences and gates, and our commitment to creativity and quality is recognised by hundreds of happy customers. Here are some of our latest fencing designs (and there are also more here).

This is a simple yet contemporary design with a solid, neutrally toned concrete base that allows the dark tones of the fencing to garner the attention. The standout feature on this fence is the central motif, which is a series of differently sized and placed ‘C scrolls’ that add softness, and a number of balusters-with-a-twist that add further visual interest.

How perfectly does this fence’s design merge into the backdrop of the lush, verdant green gardens? A rustic brick base sets a natural tone, which is topped by another stunning nod to Mother Nature – the wrought iron fencing element. This is a beautiful take on an ’S scroll’ and ‘C scroll’ design with the divine addition of ethereal flower features.

This fence is certainly not for the faint-hearted! It is sturdy and imposing with its big, bold brickwork topped with unique additions which means it certainly fits the bill as long term fencing. This is contrasted by dark-hued wrought iron balusters that are topped with alluring finials that are a modern take on the traditional fleur-de-lis pattern.

This fence is not shy about being bold. Simple and dramatic, it also features sturdy posts and twisted balusters to visually enhance its appeal. This is a fantastic choice, given the hint of light-coloured brickwork in the background. The finials are also a nod to security with their ‘arrow’ or ‘flat spear’ design. (Read more about the types of wrought iron finials in our blog).

This contemporary home is edged by glorious greenery and a classically-styled fence that only enhances the property’s personality. In terms of outdoor fence designs, it’s not trying to be showy, it merely complements the muted tones of the house exterior. A modern choice of post and post cap and understated spear finials complete the picture.

There’s a grand entrance, and then there’s a super-grand entrance with the addition of this wrought iron fencing at the front of the home, as well as railings on the first-floor balcony. The all-white colour scheme allows the fencing to command centre stage. Sturdy posts frame an elegant design complete with swirls, and a unique feature at the bottom of the fence adds a touch of metallic luxury.

If you are after a small outdoor fence, this is a great example of how clean lines and a few understated design features can still create a stylish statement. With simple oval inlays and balustrades with an additional visual element, it is fashionable without being pretentious and will be beautifully edged once its new green friends are established.

Proudly supported by a gorgeous slate foundation, this fencing features a simple design that blends seamlessly into the landscape. Here, it’s a supportive element rather than a feature, but it is still aesthetically pleasing and allows curious passers-by a glimpse of the home’s unique, contemporary exteriors (and be curious about its interiors).

Outdoor fences for pools are typically relatively low-key in design, but that doesn’t mean they have to be boring. Their practical nature means they need to be solid and sturdy from a safety point of view, but this example also has subtle touches that add some interest and an expansive layout, adding to the home’s appeal (and the views!)

This enticing home exudes not only architectural beauty but also a welcoming elegance that is wonderfully paired with unique fencing. The stonework is superb with a chequerboard of colours, and it is topped with simple, stylish ironwork featuring stately finials as well as bespoke flower inlays that enhance its curb appeal.

This is another lovely combination of stonework and sturdiness, with a huge brick pillar supporting traditionally-styled wrought iron fencing with its patterned balustrades and traditional finials. This is another fine example of fencing that is happy to recede into the background, allowing the fence’s other features and the surrounding greenery to be at the forefront.

This backyard fencing is outshone (in a good way) by magnificent driveway fencing that oozes sophistication and high-end luxury. Expansive and alluring, it is unapologetic in its multiple design features, including swirls, scrolls and two levels of balustrade that are all connected to sturdy brick posts, adding another level of quality as well as one of security.
